Dissecting the brain with sound
Article Abstract:
The way people discern sounds differs from one person to another. Psychologist Diana Deutsch has developed a collection of sounds which can provide audio illusions. A person's response to these illusions can show which hemisphere of the brain dominates a person.

Building consciousness of streams
Article Abstract:
Sampling microfauna in streams can provide amateur scientists exposure to stream ecology and exposure to the environmental sciences. Microfauna are excellent indicators of stream health and amateur scientist will find little trouble in collecting samples.
