The past and future of global mobility: with growing wealth, people everywhere travel farther and faster. That trend inevitably brings a shift in the dominant transportation technologies

Article Abstract:

Transportation in the near future is expected to dominated by land transportation, both in developed and developing countries, even as other transportation technologies, such as air and rail travel improves. The mystery of the nucleon spin

Article Abstract:

The dynamic structure of nucleons continues to be a mystery, despite the numerous discoveries in nuclear physics. Scientist have yet to define an equation for the quantum chromodynamics of nucleons, whose nuclear spin can not be represented by the quark model.

Laser trapping of neutral particles

Article Abstract:

Electrically neutral atomic particles can be caught and manipulated by laser beams. The trapping of these particles allows scientists to cool vapors to near absolute zero, develop new atomic clocks, and stretch molecules of DNA with laser beams.
