Aging and movement: variability of force pulses for saccadic eye movements
Article Abstract:
Saccadic movements allow the human eye to view scenes that cannot be processed in a single fixation. A new study investigates whether age has any effect on the trajectories of saccadic eye movements by examining the eyes of younger and older adults. The research shows, that while minor differences are apparent between the control of eye movements of different age groups, the brain mechanisms involved are fundamentally the same.

Object- and location-based inhibition of return in younger and older adults
Article Abstract:
The age-related deficit in object-based inhibition of return (IOR) appears to be a general phenomenon, as it is found with both dynamic and static displays. Results of study through static displays support the notion that although older adults do not show object-based IOR, location- based IOR is resistant to aging.
