Differences in amount of informal care received by Non-Hispanic whites and Latinos in a nationally representative sample of older Americans
Article Abstract:
The informal home care received by non-Hispanic whites are compared with those of Latinos and African Americans. It is observed that Latinos receive more hours of informal care than the average Americans and non-Hispanic whites for activity of daily living or instrumental activity of daily living disabilities.

Functional status and health outcomes in older Americans with Diabetes Mellitus
Article Abstract:
The effects of baseline functional status on health outcomes in older American adults with diabetes mellitus (DM) are determined. DM management, if adjusted to functional status can potentially address the most-relevant outcomes in the diverse older population with DM.
