Evidence-based psychological treatments for disruptive behaviors in individuals with dementia
Article Abstract:
Two psychological interventions that are effective in treating behavioral disturbances in dementia are identified in the relevant literature. Structured behavioral approaches and individualized counseling or consultation interventions by modifying the physical or interpersonal environment meet the rigorous evidence-based treatment (EBT) criteria applied in this investigation.

Article Abstract:
Two treatments, sleep restriction-sleep compression therapy and multicomponent cognitive-behavioral therapy are presented as evidence-based psychological treatments (EBTs) for insomnia in older adults. The treatments are analyzed and benefits and limitations discussed.
