A longitudinal cohort study on one thousand two cognitively intact community-resident female Medicare beneficiaries aged 65 and older and on determining the relation between volitional walking behavior and change in walking ability and lower extremity function for a period of one year is presented.

The effect of age on lower urinary tract function: a study in women
Article Abstract:
The results of clinical investigations for identifying the relationship between age and lower urinary tract function in women are discussed. The study was conducted on women volunteers with and without bladder symptoms indicating detrusor overactivity.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and risk of developing urinary incontinence

The relation between type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and urinary incontinence is examined. It is shown that Diabetes Mellitus makes women more prone to the development of urinary incontinence.
