The effect of lingual exercise on swallowing in older adults
Article Abstract:
Study made to prevent or delay Presbyphagia and Dysphagia in older adults, by therapeutic intervention like progressive lingual resistance exercise that contains isometric intervention like progressive lingual resistance swallowing pressure, Videofluoroscopic Swallow and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) resulted in increase in their lingual maximal isometric pressure.

Once-weekly resistance ercise improves muscle strength and neuromuscular performance in older adults
Article Abstract:
Giving resistance exercises to the aged once- or twice-weekly improves muscle strength gains and is associated with improved neuromuscular performance. This improvement could reduce the risk of falls and fracture in older adults.
