Boas and holism: A textual analysis
Article Abstract:
A study uses textual analysis to closely follow Franz BoasEs mode of reasoning in the classical texts that some of his most famous commentators, Ruth Benedict, Helen Codere, and George W. Stocking, alluded to in order to bolster their case of a holistic Boas. However, it discovers no holism, only cultural fragments randomly assembling to form regional cultures.

The conceptual construction of altruism: Ernst Fehr's experimental approach to human conduct
Article Abstract:
A study describing Ernst Fehr's altruism research on human cooperation that challenges selfishness axiom, a conception of human behavior is illustrated. Fehr provides a neurological foundation for the model of the self-regarding actor, which sheared of its material content, is characteristic of orthodox economics.
