Comanagement of natural resources
Article Abstract:
The beliefs and practices of indigenous groups are increasingly recognized as being of value for resource management, but engagement in co-management is proving difficult for indigenous communities. A New Zealand study of the potential for joint management of freshwater resources is used to argue that collaboration between state and indigenous people, and mutual engagement of their knowledges, promises to maximize indigenous input into resource management decision making.

Karl Heim and John Polkinghorne: theology and natural sciences in dialogue
Article Abstract:
Theologians Karl Heim and John Polkinghorne developed concepts regarding the dialogue between theology and the natural sciences. Heim proposed the existence of a transcendent God found not only in the world but in the person of Jesus Christ. On the other hand, Polkinghorne focused on the importance of the cosmos in studying God and the need to search for God's role in the creation process.
