Consensus, clines, and edges in Celtic cultures
Article Abstract:
This article investigates patterns of continuous cultural variation among Celts living in the British Isles. Data on local cultural practices from four divergent locations provide insight into cultural clines, or incremental cultural changes and edges, or areas of dramatic cultural change, in the British Isles.

Discovery-mode teaching using the electronic Human Relations Arena Files for cross-cultural comparison
Article Abstract:
The authors offer a method to design cultural studies courses using one or both of the Human Relations Area Files and the Probability Sample Files of 60 cultures. The challenges and benefits of using this learning by discovery method are discussed.
