Customer perceptions of justice in service transactions: the effects of strong and weak ties

Depending on whether customers who interact with the bank have weak or strong ties with the bank in the service context, sensitivity towards outcome favorability or voice differ.

Designing effective diversity training: influence of group composition and trainee experience

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the effectiveness of multicultural diversity training on trainees related to their experience on dealing with diversity issues in the workplace in US corporations is offered. Additional information on other diversity training strategies to raise employees' diversity awareness and help them develop skills to deal with multicultural diversity issues is included.

The rich get richer: predicting participation in voluntary diversity training

Article Abstract:

Trainee demographics has no effect on participation in voluntary diversity trainings. More competent employees tend to attend voluntary training sessions and trainees with low competence in the diversity realm were not aware of their lack of skills so they were less motivated to participate in these programs. The two methods used to reach these findings as well as the overview of survey participants are also presented.
