Interpreting workplace identities: the role of office decor
Article Abstract:
Workplace identities refer to the fundamental categorizations relating to employees' status and individuality in the workplace. The patterns in which employees in corporate offices infer several relatively permanent office decor such as furniture, photos and personal mementos, are studied as indicators of their co-workers' workplace identities.

A longitudinal analysis of the impact of workplace empowerment on work satisfaction
Article Abstract:
A longitudinal predictive design was used to test a model linking changes in structural and psychological empowerment to changes in job satisfaction. Results indicate that fostering environments that enhance perceptions of empowerment can have enduring positive effects on employees.
