James Forman (Retrospective) 1928-2005: American civil rights activist
Article Abstract:
Born on October 4, 1928, American civil rights activist and author James Forman had his first experience with racism in Mississippi when he was eight years old and failed to say "yes, ma'am" to a white clerk in a store. Forman who grew up in time of widespread legal discrimination against African Americans became involved with Congress for Racial Equality, and National Association for Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

Antonin Scalia 1936- American justice on the US Supreme Court: Youngest Supreme Court justice in US history
Article Abstract:
Antonin Scalia became the first Italian-American to become the member of US Supreme Court on 17th September 1986 and at the age of 50 he became the youngest Supreme Court justice in US history. In 1997, he published an essay about his political beliefs called 'A Matter of Interpretation: Federal Courts and the Law', which was widely praised as an eloquent defense of the principle of 'textualism'.
