Judgemental inputs to the forecasting process: research and practice
Article Abstract:
Participants of the 'Judgemental Inputs to the Forecasting Process' symposium highlighted the significance of judgement processes in technological forecasting. The highly-successful event, held in the University College London on Nov 13, 1998, featured researches conducted by some of the world's renowned academicians and practitioners. One of the most interesting studies presented in the symposium was that of Mary Wilkie-Thomson, who discussed the differing effects generated by time series on judgemental forecasts.
