McGregor's Theory Y vs. Bentham's Panopticism: toward a critique of the economic theory of agency

A project to better understand the limitations of the economic theory of agency and incentives is presented. The different treatments and methods of informational questions regarding transparency or non-transparency in the management of firms or other human organizations are discussed.

Theory and policy in online privacy

General statistics depicting the value of privacy to Internet users are provided to introduce the issue and attest to its merit for study. The study concludes that two theories are proffered as paradigms from which the major issues surrounding online privacy are viewed.
