Modeling organizational process across hierarchical levels: climate, leadership, and group process in work groups
Article Abstract:
An analysis on organizational behavior among Navy officers revealed that certain business constructs are conceived irrelevantly in the upper management level compared to the lower management level. Further, it was shown that managers at the senior level tend to have a different perception of leadership compared to those in the junior level due to the presence of some factors, including employee interaction and organizational climate. Despite such differences, results suggest that the concept of group processes is cited relevantly in different hierarchical levels.

Measuring climate for work group innovation: development and validation of the team climate inventory
Article Abstract:
Team Climate Inventory (TCI) was developed to measure an important aspect of facet-specific work group climate, the climate for innovation. Results reveal a greater level of agreement in climate than that for measures which are less facet-specific. Focusing on a specific aspect of climate and its relationship to specific aspects of group level outcomes yields greater predictive accuracy. Moreover, TCI's focus on the proximal work group produces high levels of consensus among team members.
