Philosophy, science and religion: a response
Article Abstract:
Philosophy can mitigate the difference between science and religion in modern society. Western thought is torn between science and religion. This is another version of the struggle between reason and morality. Reason is a Socratic concept while faith and morality have been carried over from Judaicand Christian thought. Ideally, the ancient philosophers of Greece suggested a demarcation between worldly wisdom and spiritual contentment.
