Policy analysis for growth of a new technology product

Article Abstract:

The three main aspects of the growth of a new product based on technology are interrelated. These aspects are new product diffusion, rise in productivity and new product management. A system dynamics model was used to discuss all three aspects in a unified manner in the context of the television industry in India. A set of new product-related policies was designed to eliminate problems associated with production, recruitment, capacity acquisition and pricing.

Internationalization of services: a technological perspective

Article Abstract:

A taxonomy of services based on their technological connections with manufacturing and other service sectors is presented. Particular attention is given to the danger of less developed countries being omitted from the rapid technological change of several infrastructural and specialized service sectors. This would have very negative repercussions for the international competitiveness of current manufacturing activities in these countries.
