Preparing for the urban future
Article Abstract:
An analysis of effective urban or city planning is presented. The analysis assumes urban public authority as a vital determinant of future planning and applies data from a 1985 study of the Academy for State and Local Government. It is shown that increasing populations reduce distinctions among cities, suburbs and countrysides. In addition, city variables also affect metropolitan, county and state planning.
