Rationality in collective action
Article Abstract:
An interpretation of collective action as a matter of people doing something together that involves their having a collective intention to do that thing together is presented. An inclinations plus-joint-commitment model of action in situation with the structure of collective action problem could therefore explain how, though rationality requires one to act in a particular way, there may remain a pull in the direction of acting contrary to reason's dictates.

The relevance of rules to a critical social science
Article Abstract:
Study is conducted which aims to argue for a conception of critical social science based on the model of constitutive rules. This approach is found to be superior to the traditional approach of critical social science, as it does not rely heavily on metaphysical assumptions about the role of history, economy and creative capacities of human agents in social world.

Paranoia and reinforced dogmatism: beyond critical rationality
Article Abstract:
A comparative analysis of paranoia and reinforced dogmatism is carried out. It suggested that reinforced dogmatism, such as pseudo-science a-la-Popper, demonstrates a primary epistemic lack of critical rationality, that is, of testability, whereas, paranoia reveals a lack of range of alternative statements leading secondarily to a lack of testability.
