The politics of metaphor
Article Abstract:
There are two related vectors of the politics of metaphor, one of which is the ostensibly academic question of the place of metaphor, and hence its meaning. It is argued that all thought and language is metaphoric, with most metaphors being old, while some are new and shape the next wave of knowledge and action in the world, evaporating all boundaries.
