Vietnam faces modern sexuality problems with inadequate knowledge and solutions
Article Abstract:
Sex education in Vietnam is inadequate, and young people and adults are often misinformed. Sexuality is a subject seldom discussed, and many erroneous assumptions about AIDS and HIV put sexually active people at risk. Excerpts from sex education literature are presented, highlighting myths about AIDS, pregnancy, masturbation and homosexuality. The need for a concerted effort to present accurate information on sexuality and sexual hygiene to the Vietnamese population is discussed.

The journey of sexuality educators to faith communities
Article Abstract:
The idea of sexuality educators and clergy working together on sexuality education is likened to traveling in a foreign country. Such travel can be enlightening, enriching and exciting, but also frightening and filled with the unknown. Sexuality educators should prepare for this 'foreign travel' by learning a little about the denominational statement on sexuality related issues. They can facilitate cultural exchange and most importantly, travel with an open mind.

Working across difference to promote male involvement: one community's response
Article Abstract:
The coalition of schools, agencies, organizations and individuals that formed the Bucks County, PA, Pregnancy Task Force hopes to include all interested or at-risk children in its program, and hopes to teach prevention. By allowing kids to think for themselves, the program could inspire them to make sound decisions about things like drugs and sex. Groups of students meet with a facilitator, where open and frank discussion can take place.
