What is Islamic law?: A praxiological answer and an Egyptian case study
Article Abstract:
The meaning of Islamic law according to theologians, believers and citizens to decide whether something conforms or not to some tradition is discussed. It is suggested that social scientists should describe the situations, the mechanisms and the processes through which people orient themselves to what they call Islamic law.

Toward a network sociality
Article Abstract:
This article examines transformations in social life since the advent of the Internet, new media, and late capitalism. The author suggests the model of sociality based on community has shifted to one based on network sociality, which is most visible in urban spaces and cultural industries.
