A multidimensional evaluation of a treatment program for female batterers: a pilot study

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to examine the changes in psychological variables related to abuse between pretreatment and posttreatment assessments in a sample of women involuntarily placed in treatment. The findings indicate that treatment completers are less passive/aggressive and less likely to use physical force on their partners at the conclusion of the treatment program.

The effects of cross-system collaboration on mental health and substance abuse problems of detained youth

Article Abstract:

The effects of cross-system collaboration on mental health and substance abuse problems of detained youth are discussed. It was found that for treating delinquent youth with co-occurring problem behaviors, cross-system collaboration was a promising approach.

Reducing juvenile recidivism: evaluating the wraparound services model

Article Abstract:

The effectiveness of wraparound services is evaluated. The wraparound services model was prepared to assist the juvenile court system in correctly identifying youth at greatest risk of reoffending.
