Death and work in Britain
Article Abstract:
Methods used by the Health and Safety Commission and its Executive to gather data on occupational deaths are suspect. Official statistics are more than social construction, but the data relied on here are technically inadequate and reconstructed. This data should continue to be collected, but biases in its collection must be acknowledged and resolved.
