Confronting the growing problem of pollution in Asia

Article Abstract:

Asian countries have taken cost-effective measures, such as stabilizing particulate emissions, reducing lead in gasoline, and abating the pollutants, to reduce environment pollution. While the government have to reform tax structure, private sector will have to raise major part of the revenue needed to clean the environment. Countries need to commercialize the components of infrastructure sectors and raise prices for infrastructure-related services for effective environment policies. The "Englishness" of English cricket

Article Abstract:

The game of cricket has acquired a distinct position in English heritage as being the most representative of English values and culture. Originating in the middle ages in rural England, the game became popular among the aristocracy in the 19th century. Primarily a game of leisure, cricket was seen as a metaphor of English society from the 1860s to the 1960s. However, the subsequent emergence of the one-day game changed the format and social aspects of English cricket. Popular interest in cricket as a leisurely game was resurrected in the 1980s as a reaction against Thatcherite politics.
