Contamination, corrosion and the social order: an overview

Article Abstract:

The differences between the impact of natural and technological disasters are just beginning to be recognized along with their impacts on social order. Technological disasters often include someone to blame, which is not true of natural disasters. Special societies are created around technological disasters as whole communities are sometimes split between victims, sometimes organized by lawyers, and other groups. The impact of technological disasters is also different in that the effects are not necessarily immediate or visible.

Global governing organizations: Order-building and waste management

Article Abstract:

A discussion on how particular global governing organizations are involved in global order-building is presented.
