Differences between male and female juvenile offenders as measured by the BASC

The emotional and behavioral differences of female and male juvenile offenders are examined. The authors, employing the Behavioral Assessment System for Children, conclude females differed from males regarding anxiety, depression, social stress, locus of control, relations with parents, and self-esteem and argue female offenders require different treatment than males.
