Explaining cross-national variation in energy consumption: The effects of development, ecology, politics, technology, and region
Article Abstract:
The effects of ecological, political, technological and regional factors on the residual variation in energy consumption at the country level are examined. The development level and ecology of the United States and Canada are the main cause of high energy consumption in these countries.
