Gender, Palestinian women, and terrorism: women's liberation or oppression

Article Abstract:

Gender-based influences on participation in terrorism among Palestinian women are examined to indicate women's liberation or oppression. It is demonstrated that there is gender oppression in the wake of participation in terrorism, are shunned for their violation of gender expectations and failure to fulfill traditional gender roles instead of gageing them for women's liberation.
