Good work!
Article Abstract:
Several housing and community development agencies are successfully serving their constituencies through creative approaches that can be emulated by others. One example is the Housing Authority of Charlotte, NC, which has modernized units in its Earle Village housing and is developing new housing units and family self-sufficiency units. The Vancouver Housing Authority in Washington, also notable, introduced the Hough In-Fill Program for first-time home buyers. Standard tract housing was avoided in favor of houses that reflect the character of the community. Other worthy projects are described.
