Implicit regulatory focus associated with asymmetrical frontal cortical activity
Article Abstract:
Two separate motivational systems, promotion and prevention, differentially related to approach and avoidance fulfilling different regulatory needs are identified using the regulatory focus theory. Approach-and-avoidance related emotions and motivational orientations are linked to asymmetries in frontal cortical activity.

The evaluative connotation of processing fluency: Inherently positive or moderated by motivational context?
Article Abstract:
The experience of processing fluency was used to test whether manipulating the research cue's motivational context would moderate its evaluative impact. The findings suggested that value of fluent processing reflects its relation to contextual features like one's current motivational state.
