Measuring stigma in older and younger adults with HIV/AIDS: An analysis of an HIV stigma scale and initial exploration of subscales
Article Abstract:
The validity of a scale designed to measure HIV stigma and identify potential subscales is explored. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) found 12 of the 13 loaded cleanly into the three subscales labeled as Distancing, Blaming and Discrimination, with an overall Cronbach's alpha of .83.

Problem-solving therapy for depression in adults: a systematic review
Article Abstract:
A study to systematically review problem-solving therapy (PST) as a mode of treatment for depression in noninstitutionalized adults is conducted. Results indicate that PST alone was not as effective as when used in combination with antidepressant treatment.

Advanced group treament for developmentally disabled adults with social skill deficits
Article Abstract:
Developmentally disabled adults can be taught social skills in a group setting, although the program used for this study showed mixed results. Posttreatment followup 1 year later showed maintenance for most skills.
