NAHRO in Orlando!
Article Abstract:
The National Assn. of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) will hold its National Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, FL, on Oct. 6 to 9, 1996. Convened under the theme 'Our Vision for Tomorrow: Building Communities Together,' the event will ask participants to deal with issues related to the provision of adequate affordable housing, decent neighborhoods and safe communities. The conference will have ex-Virginia Gov. Douglas Wilder as the keynote speaker and will offer 70 dynamic sessions on housing, community development, housing and community development (H/CD) policy, and organizational management. The exhibition will enable conference delegates to meet with manufacturers and suppliers of goods and services to the H/CD industry, and purchase new products.

Article Abstract:
A member of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) gives overview of the day-to-day account of the NAHRO delegation's week-long trip to Israel at the invitation of the Ministry of Construction and Housing (MOCH), and some highlights of what he saw and learned are presented. The trip included attending the meeting at the Ministry Tour of Project Renewals, meeting with Amidar, visit to Nazareth, and visit to Amigour.

Charm city hosts NAHRO
Article Abstract:
NAHRO's national conference and exhibition will be held at Baltimore, during October 2004, which is an annual event with NAHRO gathering experts to address delegates at its national conferences. NAHRO members will find many attractions in Baltimore, like port discovery, national aquarium, national historic seaport, and the restaurants of Baltimore will be featuring flavors of many countries.
