Reliability and validity of a Spanish version of the posttraumatic growth inventory

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to systematically translate and adapt the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI) into Spanish and that PTGI allows the measurement of positive changes following the taxing experience of immigration. The results indicate that the translated version was highly reliable, semantic, content, conceptual and technical equivalence of the Spanish version of PTGI were supported, making its use valid for research.

Initial reliability and validity of the Perceived Social Competence Scale

Article Abstract:

A study was undertaken to assess the competence of children and youth across certain predetermined parameters. Results showed that the Perceived Social Competence Scale had suitable parameters and could be used for assessment purposes.
