Research in ethnic segregation is a progress report dealing with segregation research in geography. The overview of segregation is divided into factors that produce it, the varied meanings ascribed to it, and the manifold consequences of group separation.

Quantifying neighborhood racial and ethnic transition clusters in multiethnic cities

A case study of Los Angeles County during 1990 to 2000 reveals that cluster analysis can help in the analytical study of trends in local racial and ethnic changes in a multigroup context.
