Article Abstract:
A junior high school student from Pennsylvania named Morgan Pozgar won the title and the $25,000 prize at the National Texting Championship, for correctly texting "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" after defending champion Eli Tirosh sent a misspelled text message. A personal narrative on the texting competition is presented.

The race to build the 100-MPG car
Article Abstract:
The Automotive X Prize is a competition to build a car that runs 100 miles per gallon, produce less than 200 grams of greenhouse gasses per mile, and economically feasible. Details on the teams comprised of automotive designers and the competition are discussed.
