Update: The 2006 NAHRO Legislative Conference

Article Abstract:

An estimated 900 housing and community development professionals gathered to attend NAHRO's 2006 Legislative Conference where they discussed about the biggest issues facing NAHRO members, which is the public housing Operating Fund. NAHRO feels that the president's budget which is 20% less than what is needed to implement effective asset management will make them lose on the Operating Fund, on HOME, on Community Development Block Grants, and a lot of other programs.
