Validity of the Draw-A-Person: Screening Procedure for Emotional Disturbance (DAP:SPED) in strengths-based assessment
Article Abstract:
A validity study is conducted to examine the relationship between the Draw-A-Person, which is Screening Procedure for Emotional Disturbance (DAP:SPED) and strengths-based emotional and behavioral measures. It is concluded that the DAP:SPED is a useful youth-report instrument in large environment as a quick and nonthreatening way to identify those youth who may need more specialized attention.

Characteristics of the Safe At Home instrument for assessing readiness to change intimate partner violence
Article Abstract:
The development, factor structure, concurrent validity and predictive validity of the 'Safe At Home instrument, a 35-item self-report measure designed for social work assessment of individuals' readiness to change their intimate partner violence behaviors are presented. A study on this reveals that the instrument can be applied to social work evaluation for batterer's treatment intervention.
