Article Abstract:
The deepest diving depths for compressed air were recorded in 1915 and 1963 by Navy officer Crilley and commercial diver Murray D. Black, respectively. Criley made a record dive to 306 ft. in Honolulu, Hawaii, while Black's record of 321 ft. was made in 1963 off the coast of California.

Article Abstract:
The popularity of diving as a recreational activity and source of income is responsible for the creation several infrastructures essential for commerce. However, this continuous practice has also led to the disappearance of rare and valuable pearl shells.

Diving for the young and old
Article Abstract:
Physical fitness and not age should determine whether a person should engage in scuba diving. People of various ages should be encouraged to take up diving if it is to be kept as a fun thing.
