A diver recalls his experience as a test subject for a study of decompression theory. He and three other divers participated in a week-long hyperbaric study. The results of the study enabled researchers to modify theories about gas formation in the human body after repeated dives.

Diving gears may burn and explode because a standard scuba kit contains materials that can make fire such as oxygen, neoprene, silicon and trace lubricants. Hence, divers are advised to employ certain precautions when using their air scuba gears.
