A documentary filmmaker chose Coco Island, Costa Rica as the location of his newest documentary entitled 'Island of the Sharks.' Coco Island was selected because of the fact that its waters are the home of the most number of sharks in the world where hammerheads and even whale sharks live.

In memoriam: Mel Fisher 1922-1998
Article Abstract:
Renowned diver Mel Fisher died on Dec 19, 1998 at the age of 76 after 20 years of battling cancer. Fisher was one of the legendary diving pioneers who first attempted to make a diving apparatus when he was 11 years old.
