The three most dangerous sharks are the Great White, the Tiger and the Bull. The next most dangerous are the Gray Reef and the Silky, although others say that the list should include the Spinner, the Blacktip, the Whitetip Reef, the Galapagos and the Dusky sharks.

The five least dangerous sharks include the basking shark, the whale shark, the scalloped hammerhead, the horn shark and the zebra shark. Other sharks that are normally harmless, except when provoked, are the nursing and angel sharks.

The Pacific Angel Shark is flat and often comes in sandy gray to reddish brown in color with dark spots. Although it is not considered dangerous to humans, the Pacific Angel Shark can become aggressive when harrassed or trapped.
