Treasure found off Mauritius island
Article Abstract:
The beaches of Mauritius have been the site of many shipwrecks. The French ship St.Geran went down the coast of Mauritius island on the night of August 16, 1744. Attempts to salvage the remains of the ship have produced valuables such as iron cannons, anchors, a large bronze bell, coins and other artifacts.
