Article Abstract:
The Kelty Mesa Grande tent, the Dana Design Mojo tent, Wild Things Chamonix Anorak, Outdoor Research Hydroseal Pockets, Suunto Vector Wristop Computer and Cloud Peak Reusable Food Bags were tested in various locations, from snowy mountains to waterless deserts. Kelty's 7,850-cubic-inch Mesa Grande tent was found to be very comfortable and convenient. The pack bag has four points of entry. The price of the Mesa Grande is $350. Results of other equipment tests are also given.

Noall Equinox

The $199 three-season Noall Equinox tent weighs 4 lbs 2 oz, and is a good choice for backpackers who want a relatively inexpensive single-wall tent. There are two aluminum poles and the fabric is coated with urethane waterproofing. Drawbacks include poor ventilation and tight floor space.
