Article Abstract:

The obsolescence of the four-stroke motorcycles over two-strokes in motorcycle racing was described. Yamaha released its first two-stroke model, the TD1 in the 1960's. The firm perfected the technology in its succeeding models, the TD1A, TD1B, TD2, TR2B, TD3, TR3s and the TA250s.

ZZR250 and KLE500: fun, but not for here

Article Abstract:

Two 1992 Kawasaki motorcycles, the ZZR250 and the KLE500, will be sold in Japan and Europe, but not in the United States. Engine design and performance of both the KLE500 rally-style bike and the ZZR250 beginners' bike are discussed.

Tesi revisited

Article Abstract:

The Bimota Tesi 1Dsr motorcycle has a 904cc engine and a revamped suspension system. The bike offers excellent handling, braking and stability. It is sold in Italy for $41,000.
