Article Abstract:

A study to examine the attentional processes underlying skilled motor performance in threatening situations was conducted. Results showed little change in performance in the high-threat distraction conditions, compared with either the low-threat or the high-threat distraction conditions.

Individual and crew level determinants of collective efficacy in rowing

Article Abstract:

Individual and group/boat level determinants of collective efficacy in the sport of rowing are examined. A multilevel model revealed that self-efficacy predicted individual perception of collective efficacy, while perceptions of mastery predicted average collective efficacy.

The psychosocial experiences of the breast cancer survivors involved in dragon boat programs as part of appropriate physical activity is presented. A resultant of positive psychological growth was found in the breast cancer survivors.
