The owners of a 48-foot cutter prepared for a circumnavigation by stocking three anchors - a 22 lb. Danforth, a 70 lb. storm anchor, and a 13 lb. secondary Danforth. This assortment, along with a variety of chain lengths and types, sufficed in their many anchorages and weather conditions.
