People can improve their food habits by eating fresh fruits and vegetables and foods low in fat. They will likely start to lose weight after starting such a diet and focus should be on eating nutritious foods for health reasons, not losing weight. Exercise should be treated the same way.

Salt that lowers your blood pressure

Research shows that a mineral salt containing sodium, potassium, and magnesium can lower blood pressure. Older people with moderate hypertension who took the salt for six months saw their blood pressure drop an average of three point diastolic and eight points systolic.
