A star is re-born

Article Abstract:

Yamaha has introduced its new 2006 model called the Star, a new division of Roadliner is a heavily stylized bike, which has a small tuning-fork emblem set into the speedometer face and a 2-inch Yamaha logo on the rear fender. The new bike features a weight of 705 pounds, V-Twin bumped from 102 cubic inches to 113 cubes and is fitted with an EXUP valve in the exhaust system.

Cole Foster has unveiled his Salinas Boyz Bobber, a candy-apple cross between a Harley Big Twin and an Schwinn Stingray. The bike's development was a deal with aftermarket giant Custom Chrome Inc. leading to a signature line of gas tanks, but no follow-up bikes.

The Honda CBA 1000F and the Kawasaki 1100 are due to be introduced in 1992. Both motorcycles were inspired by the Superbikes of the late 1970s and the early 1980s.
